TIMES OF THE SIGNS​

​When you receive this, the chosen people of God will be preparing for Rosh Hashanah. This is one of the Feast that the God of Israel has set forth in His word to be a "holy convocation"; an appointed time by the Lord for His specific purposes with and for His people. God tells His people in Leviticus 23, Numbers 28, Numbers 29, Leviticus 16:29-34 just exactly what they are to do. These Feast are: Passover, Feast of Weeks, Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), Atonement, Feasts of Booths. In all of these Feasts, God is calling His people to rest in Who He is and all the promises He has made. If you take the time to read all of these you will see what many might think is a lot of blood and slaughter. God in His infinite mercy and faithfulness is constantly teaching all of His children that He and He alone is Sovereign. God alone is to be worshiped and adored and there is indeed a great cost for the atonement of sin. God is also calling all of His people to realize that obedience in everything He sets up leads to Truth...Himself.

God has shown His Truth through Yeshua, His Son; who gave His life to completely satisfy God's demand for payment against the sin of His creation. God alone paid this price, for what God demands, He provides! Yeshua gave His life's blood as the sacrifice and atonement for everyone who will believe in Him and believe that God the Father sent Him to redeem mankind back to Himself. Isn't it the most wonderful thing that the Sovereign God of all the Universe would send His only Son as God's servant unto the reconciliation of Creation? It boggles the mind and so it should. This is an absolute that cannot be understood in the natural mind. It must come into the heart and spirit of a person through the power of God opening the closed door to heaven, forever! In 70AD the Temple was destroyed by Rome and the Jews were dispersed out into all the nations. There have not been any sacrifices since that time and the Feasts are celebrated differently. If you have access to the Internet you can go to Virtual Jerusalem* for information on the Feasts of Trumpets, the day of atonement, and the Feasts of Booths or Tabernacles that are being celebrated from the 29th of September through the 22nd of October on the Gentile calendar. On the Jewish calender these Feasts start on the Elul 29-Tishri 23. If you do not have this as an option, you can go to the library or bookstore and look for information on these Feasts. Open your heart to God and allow Him to teach you the wonderful things of His Old Testament that speaks to us today of His promises and glory.

In the midst of all these Feasts there is much going on in Israel and around the world that is prophetic to God’s chosen people; all who believe in Yeshua, and all of mankind. We have placed in this newsletter some articles and parts of articles that speak to the times in which we are living. We ask that you read all of these prayerfully, seeking God’s wisdom and understanding. We believe that they are real signs of the times we live in and that they are showing us that the God of Israel, the One True God of all creation, is calling everyone to repentance, a full accountable relationship with Himself and a renewal of the life of Yeshua in His true believers. The time for accountability and repentance is here and we all need to open our hearts and hear the voice of God calling us into Himself.

The World Over The Dismantling Of The Ministry Of Religious Affairs

Prime Minister Ehud Barak's secular revolution appears to be becoming a reality, with the help of Justice Minister Yossi Beilin. Beilin has already begun dismantling the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as outlined in a four-month plan he and his staffers have drawn up. The process begins with the closure of certain departments - a move that does not require Knesset approval - within a month and a half. Beilin, whose plan it is to "give other religions in Israel a greater sense of partnership," explains his strategy in his introduction to the program (quoted in HaTzofeh):
"Our diplomatic relations with the Vatican are improving... and the same is true regarding the appeasement process with the Arab world. This will require us in the coming years to increase budgetary allocations towards developing Islamic and Christian institutions... Inter-religious understanding and coordination will be required... The dismantling of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the transfer of its activities to other government ministries, is indicated... It behooves us to find a way to grant the other streams of Judaism and other religions in Israel a feeling of greater partnership and equality..."

The Ministry's departments that are scheduled to be closed over the next few weeks include: Diaspora; Ritual Items; Halakhic [Jewish Legal] Research; Holy Sites; Synagogues; Mikvaot [Ritual Baths] and Eruvin [Ritual Sabbath Domain Delimiters]; the Ministry's Northern Branch; and others. Arutz Sheva, Israel National Radio

It is amazing that there are those who wish to de-Judaize Israel! How many ways can God be deliberately and forcibly removed from His Own Land? Israel is doing the same thing that the United States has done and is continuing to do: remove God from everything in every walk of life...including “religion”! The U. S. is reaping the results of a deliberate God-less society and yet people wonder why the children kill the children. Israel, return to your God...the Only One True Living God...the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

PM Barak commends Minister Melchior's Sunday proposal
(IsraelWire-9/19) At the Cabinet meeting this Monday morning, Prime Minister Ehud Barak raised for discussion Israeli Society and World Jewish Communities Minister Rabbi Michael Melchior's proposal regarding Sunday as an additional day of rest. Prime Minister Barak said that this was an excellent idea that would reduce tensions in Israeli society and added that he would convene the ministerial social-economic committee Tuesday to discuss the idea.

Teddy Kollek will speak at the Peace Now Jerusalem rally
(IsraelWire-9/13) Former Jerusalem Mayor Teddy Kollek will be a keynote speaker at a Peace Now rally in Jerusalem on Wednesday marking seven years since the signing of the Oslo Agreement. The rally will take place at the Jaffa Gate, proceeded by a torchlight procession along Route 1 (marking the pre-1967 border). Activists will call Barak and Arafat: "Don't give up on Peace." Other speakers include: Meir Shalev (author), Prof. Ze'ev Shternhal, Dr. David Ohana, and Yehudit Harel (Peace Now). Thalma Elyagon and Haya Samir will sing. Prof. Arie Arnon, Peace Now: "Teddy Kollek, the mythological mayor of Jerusalem, has concluded that a compromise must be found for the city. His appearance at the rally is a sign of the dramatic changes in Israeli public opinion regarding Jerusalem." The Temple Mount

If the Government of Israel surrenders the Temple Mount on which man met with G-d, and if this betrayal is tolerated by the religious Jews of this country, they will have thereby denied Israel's world-historical function as the Truth-bearing Nation. The Jews will have then forfeited their right to dwell in the Land of Israel and will be driven therefrom by their bloodthirsty enemies. It thus behooves the Chief Rabbinate, or any notable group of rabbis, to call upon all the rabbis of this country, and even rabbis in the Diaspora, to assemble in Jerusalem to deliberate on ways and means to prevent the surrender of the Temple Mount. God Himself is the One Who made Jerusalem a Holy City unto Him. God did not set up Jerusalem to be a holy city to the demonic god of what would one day be called Islam. He set it up for Himself...His Dwelling Place. It is not a place to be "shared" with the enemies of God! It is too bad that there are some who still think you can "negotiate" with people who want you DEAD! The celebration of Rosh Hashana is one of holiness and reflection of God's Faithfulness and Grace for the year...past and future. "...the Jewish New Year is a time to begin introspection, looking back at the mistakes of the past year and planning the changes to make in the new year. The name ‘Rosh Hashanah’ is not used in the Bible to discuss this holiday.

The Bible refers to the holiday as Yom Ha-Zikkaron (the day of remembrance) or Yom Teruah (the day of the sounding of the shofar). The holiday is instituted in Leviticus 23:24-25" Judaism 101 Internet Site

If you read this and think about the Israeli's mistakes and sins and do not consider your own, you are amiss. We are all called by God to love Him and serve Him with a clean heart. We are to serve Him in complete and abiding obedience.
