THUS SAYS THE LORD...
"Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for light by day, and the fixed order of the moon
and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The Lord of host is His name: 'If this fixed order departs from before Me,' declares the Lord, Then the offspring of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.'" (Jer. 31:35,36)
In this scripture, Yahweh has given us the prerequisite for the offspring of Israel to cease to exist - the fixed order of the sun, moon, and stars must depart from before Him. Is there any human being capable of meeting this prerequisite? NO! Yet, for as long as the offspring of Israel have existed, people have been trying to destroy them. No matter how many people have tried, they have all been unsuccessful. Why? Because, they believe that they can, by their own might, or with the help of their god(s), destroy the offspring of Israel. However, if no human being or false god can destroy the fixed order of Creation, then they cannot destroy the offspring of Israel. Thus Yahweh's word is fulfilled that the offspring of Israel will always be a nation before him.
When Yahweh refers to the offspring of Israel as a nation, He is setting them apart as a group of people. We usually think of a nation as a particular land mass. Yahweh thinks of them as a particular people mass. Israel, the people, are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, whose name Yahweh changed to Israel. (Gen: 35:10) Yahweh considers all those who are the offspring of Israel to be a nation. They are not like any other nation. Speaking to Abraham He said, "And I will make you a great nation." (Gen. 12:2)To Moses Yahweh said, "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel:' 'you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'" (Ex. 19:6) The offspring of Israel are truly a special people to Yahweh. Through Moses He told them, "For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth." (Deut. 7:6); and, "'the Lord has today declared you to be His people, a treasured possession, as He promised you, and that you should keep all His commandments; and that He shall set you high above all nations which He has made, for praise, fame, and honor; and that you shall be a consecrated people to the Lord your God, as He has spoken." (Deut. 26:18,19) Not only did Yahweh set apart the offspring of Israel as a chosen nation, He also set apart an area of land in which they were and are to live. He first told Abraham, "For all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever." (Gen. 13:15). To Jacob He said, "And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give it to you, and I will give the land to your descendants after you." (Gen. 35:12) Yahweh set forth the boundaries of this land to Moses. "When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders''. This shall be your land according to its borders all around." (Numbers 34:1-12)
Yahweh told the offspring of Israel that they will not cease from being a nation before Him. He gave them a land to be their own forever. These promises have caused jealousy and hatred toward the offspring of Israel from the time they were established. Over the years this jealousy and hatred have been manifested in many ways. In the past we have seen Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and other Middle East countries attack Israel. Today, we see the Palestinians, while supposedly engaged in a "peace process" with Israel, relentlessly attacking Israelis in an attempt to rid the Middle East of them and to take their land. We see the Lebanese and Syrians threatening them and attacking, also. We hear the words of the leaders of Iran and Iraq calling for the destruction of the People and the Land of Israel. In Russia, England, France, the US and many other countries we see synagogues being vandalized and the offspring of Israel being profaned and attacked by those who want to be rid of them. All of these attempts, past, present, and future, are in vain, for Yahweh has spoken…and His word does not return void.(Is. 55:11) As long as the sun, moon and stars are in their appointed places in the heavens the offspring of Israel will continue to exist. And, there has never been nor will there ever be a deed of possession that will supersede the ownership of the Land that Yahweh gave to the offspring of Israel as an eternal inheritance.
BOTTOM LINE
As long as there are people who do not know Yahweh, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, there will be people who hate the offspring of Israel and who desire to destroy them. To hate the offspring of Israel is to hate their G-d, Yahweh. Yahweh is the one true G-d, Creator of all things, and He loves the offspring of Israel. He expresses this love in Zechariah 2:8 when He says of them, "'for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye." If people truly know Yahweh, then they know His love for His People Israel. If people truly love Yahweh, then they love His People Israel. Clearly, those who do not love the offspring of Israel do not know the one true G-d, Yahweh. If you do not know Yahweh, seek to know Him, and His Son, Messiah Yeshua. Yahweh told His offspring of Israel, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." (Jer. 29:13) He says the same thing to you today.
CURRENT EVENTS
In reporting the war that is being fought in the Middle East today, the media would have us believe that Israel is occupying land that actually belongs to the Palestinians. This is an absolute lie. The areas of Judea and Samaria in which Israelis have built communities are unalloted lands of the former British Mandate. There is not, nor has there ever been, a "Palestinian Arab" nation located there. The Jewish right continues legal and unabated to "close settlement" of the Mandate lands. (1)

"Arise in your praise of Me. Arise in your intercession for My people. My chosen are now the thrust of My Spirit." (March 7, 1996) "My People are Mine Own. They are the Olive Tree from which the Life Eternal springs forth for you. Think not that I will not bring judgment upon those enemies of Mine. The enemies of My People are the enemies of Almighty G-d Yahweh! Mine Own are Mine Own and will always be so. In the Name of the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, proclaim My Word to My People and to all who are against My People, against Me. To all who are against Me I proclaim, 'Judgment will come upon your head; in fact, now is. The G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will cut off forever those who are not believers of His Word His ENTIRE WORD!' The G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob speaks' 'Listen while you may still hear.
