THE JOURNEY

Everyone is going somewhere. To work, to school, to take care of families, to activities, to grow-up, to develop a dream...everyone is going somewhere. All of these things are so important to us and for many they are as god; for they rule our time, money, energy and most of our waking thoughts. We may not realize it but our decisions are being made from within this journey. Many groups are formed as people with like ideas and desires work together get to the end of a goal that they believe is so right and fine or causes them to feel fulfilled. Sometimes these things are a part of us from childhood and we naturally continue to move on this path. Sometimes these ideas or desires are developed in school as we grow into individuals with the freedom to "think" for ourselves. Nations have been formed and even gone to war because of ideals, hopes and dreams that were agreed on and seemed right. Many of these have been delusions that have left individuals, families, groups or nations in ruin. Many of these hopes and ideals have in the end only been good for the few and most of the participants are left with feelings of depression, oppression, not knowing which way to turn or the never ending thought....Is this all there is?

The complete opposite of this is the individual, family, group or nation that is so divided and splintered that there is no way of moving at all. Many simply do not know where they are going or even if they want to. They are on a journey that they do not see or realize as a journey. They live day to day going to their somewhere becoming so accustomed to it that they mistakenly call it life. Again...Is this all there is? Or they are alright with it and just move along as a river moves toward the sea. Have you ever thought about humanity as a great sea of people moving in many directions? Well, we are and the directions are based on as many different factors as there are people.

Is this all there is? Absolutely not. God created mankind to be on His path and to move constantly towards Him. I passionately believe and know in my heart that this is the trouble with the Chosen People of God...Israel and all of human kind. We simply are moving in the wrong direction and our journey leads us away from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and not towards Him. Because of universal sin in the world, mankind lives in the mind, will and emotions. Another way to say it is, we live in the "I wants". I want everything to go my way and I want everyone to do it my way. PERIOD! This is the wrong path and it has never led to God and it never will.

If we look at Israel and the Chosen People of God what we see is a sea of people who are all moving in different directions. They really don’t need any enemies....they are their own worst enemy. (As are we all.) Why? Because they want to be accepted by the nations of the world instead of the God who created them to be His. 1 Samuel 8:20:
"...that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.." and 2 Samuel 7:23 states: "And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name--and to do for Yourself great and awesome deeds for Your land--before Your people whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, the nations, and their gods?"

Also, there are many sects in Israel and in all the different communities of the People of God all over the earth. To name just a few: The Orthodox, the Ultra Orthodox, The Reformed, The Conservative, The Messianic, The Shas in Israel, the secular Jewish people who do not care about the religious at all or their inheritance from God, all of the people who really think that politics is the only thing that can save Israel, all the Jewish people who are still living all over the world in nations that they think they are safe in when God has said in His Word that the land of Israel is where His People are to be. This is not an easy thing to say or to write as there are shootings going on in Israel every day and bombs being found in many cities, not just in Jerusalem. But the Truth is still the Truth! The Land of Israel belongs to the Chosen People of God and they need to go home and claim it. Easy for me to say...no!

I know some of the things that the Koran says and teaches. I have read many articles about the Koran and have also read parts of the Koran for myself and I can tell you for a fact that the Chosen People of God...the Jews... are not the only people that the Moslem nation is after. The Koran is very plain in its facts about any person that does not convert to their faith. They are often killed or live a subservient life. Many of you may not realize just how great is the number of Moslem’s and Arab’s in the world. It is the fastest growing religion in the world today!!

What does this have to do with mankind and the journey that it is on? Just this. This group of people know just exactly where they are going. They are going to do their best to take over the parts of the Middle East that they do not already have...Israel and as much territory around the world as possible. Have you recently taken stock as to how many Middle Easterners there are in the town or state in which you live? I live in a town that is very near a large metro-area and I see more and more Mosque’s being built monthly. I am here to tell you that everyone who is not Moslem all around the world had better wake up and take stock! Remember the Bible story about the Tower of Babel? The reason that they were successful was that they had one goal. To build a tower so high that they would make a name for themselves. This was their direction! You can read the account in Genesis 11.

A similar goal is true here. We must all remember that the hatred that is in the hearts of the Arab people goes all the way back to Isaac and Ishmael. The accounts of this can be read in Gen. 18:9-15; Gen. 21:1-21. Isaac is clearly the son of Promise not Ishmael and there lies the direction of the hate.

There is another part of man’s headlong plunge away from God that needs to be looked at. There is coming a day when the nations of the earth will rise up against God and His Chosen People and do their best to remove them and their God from the earth. This of course will not be successful, for no man or spirit can remove God from the earth or the universe. HE is the Supreme Sovereign Ruler. There are many scriptures that talk about this time in the future and we are going to take a look at a few. Zech. 12:1-14:
The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. In that day," says the Lord, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.' In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place--Jerusalem. "The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves. Zechariah 13:1, 2 "In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. "It shall be in that day," says the Lord of hosts, "that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land. .."

There is not a day that goes by that Israel is not in the news. Jerusalem is at this very moment the stumbling block of the so-called "peace" negotiations and at the center of Jerusalem is the Temple Mount. As stated earlier, there are many sects in Israel and around the world. The day is coming when the above verses will come about in complete fulfillment, according to God's timing and purpose. The Chosen People of God must repent of all of their sin towards Him just as all of mankind must repent. The word of God tells us: Isa. 53:6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

The great news is in the last part of this verse.
"And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Almighty God has laid on Yeshua the Messiah all of our iniquity and for those who will believe on Him now, their repentance and restoration to God is complete in Yeshua. For all those who have not already accepted this gift, as the time of the above scriptures comes about everyone who is alive will have the opportunity to accept the Messiah. All of His Chosen Ones of the heritage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that are truly His will be saved. That is GREAT NEWS!

God also tells us in His Word more about Jerusalem and His People. In Zephaniah 3:14-19
"...Sing, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! The Lord has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; You shall see disaster no more. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden. Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, And gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame In every land where they were put to shame..."

During the Day of the Lord, after Yeshua’s return to earth to pour out God’s wrath against all mankind that has not obeyed Him, He will gather all the nations of the world against Jerusalem and then HE will fight against all of the nations for His People. This is God’s plan and His purpose. The Day is coming when everyone who goes his own way against God and His Chosen People will be placed in the hands of God Himself and His judgement.

This is the end of the journey. If you are in God through Yeshua the Messiah and His life and death and Life sacrifice to save you into Himself and the Father, then Yeshua is your path and the end of your journey. If you are one of His Chosen People through the inheritance of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and you love Him then He will bring you to Yeshua the Messiah and you will know Him for yourself. If you choose not to love God and His Chosen People and fight against Him and them, and do not repent and turn to Him, then the end of your journey will be death and hell.

Everyone is going somewhere. Our prayer is that you will choose the journey that leads to God.

...Go with My Blessing and My Peace. Take My Peace everywhere you go today. Watch My creation praise Me. Watch My creation worship Me and watch My creation cry out to Me. The storms of life will increase for those who do not want to follow Me on the most narrow path. The most narrow path is the path that leads to Divine Relationship...

Follow me. I am your path. Keep your eyes on Me. I am your guard and strength, you are My children. You can look to the right or to the left, but it is better to keep your eyes on Me. Be at peace with Me.
